Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, 3.416 GHz / 1023 MB
My PC at work has a 512 MB DDR & one free slot, can I add SDR? or both must match?. I am not so good in hardware! The CPU is intel celeron & the speed is 2.93 GH.

No you can't mix and match. Besides DDR2 has more pins then SDRAM not to mention the notches on the ram won't line up on the DDR2 slots. You will need DDR2 ram.

Thanks. I'll go for another 512MB DDR or one 1GB instead of two 512MB.
