I have a sound blaster pci128 card that has two audio outputs, labeled 1 and 2. I want to plug my computer speakers into 1, and plug my stero into 2 for music. This way I can switch to the stereo w/o switching cables. Only problem is I cannot figure out how to switch to output 2. The stereo and comp speakers work in output 1, but i cannot make output 2 work. I couldnt' find an option to switch in the control panel or anywhere. Any ideas. Thanks

I would look on the disks which came with the card, if any.
If no joy, check their site.
If at first you don't succeed, you're about average.

Output 2 is for the REAR speakers.
According to the manual (Details page 1, or page 23 of the PDF) the outputs on that card, starting from the Joystick Port are:
1. Joystick/MIDI connector 2. Auxulliary In/Line Out (REAR) Jack 3. Line Out (Front) Jack 4. Microphone Jack 5. Line In Jack

I think you will only get output on the #2 jack when you are playing 4.1 audio that has encoded rear speaker audio.

so it would seem as though im stuck with switching cables. Is there a cheap card i could get that would allow me to have multiple outputs and easily switch between them. 3 outputs would be even better if possible. Say for like under 30 bucks or something. Thanks
