I am thinking about hooking up a second monitor, I like to have two tabs open at the same time and this would help but my question is in regards to cutting and pasteing from one monitor to the other, is this possible? If I have a word document open on one monitor, can I cut and pastes from another monitor? I am running Vista, and my video card is an 8800GXT with two DVI plugs in the back.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

Yes. everything will stretch across the two monitors. Your computer will basically treat the two monitors as if they were a single, giant monitor.

NVidia 8800GXT supports multiple monitors out of the box. You just need to get a DVI adapter to plug in your second monitor then go into display properties/settings and set the multiple monitors specifying treat it as one large desktop. It is a great way to work!
