ok. os ive had a tv wonder pro pci edition tv tuner working fine for more than a year now. ive been using ati multimedia center 8.2 fine. however, yesterday, out of the blue, i get a fatal error message (you know, the one where you could send or dont send an error report) when i start MMC and MMC closes out on me. However, underneath i notice tv until i choose either to send or not to send, which is when it closes.

now, this happens every single time i start up MMC. so, i decided to maybe upgrade to a newer version of MMC from ATI's site. did everything they tell me to, but when i install it it says "Can't load DLL" (no dll is specified) and im unable to install it.

so, i went back and tried to reinstall mmc 8.2 from the original cd. it installs (it did give me some error during installation but installed anyway) and the same thing happens with the error and it closing out.

So, i then tried to use a program called Media Portal, thinking it was the mmc program. when i go to scan for channels on my tuner, it comes up with 0 channels. Now, i have no clue what to do.

I've tried using different drivers for the tuner, reinstalling directx 9c, idk what else to do. Can somebody please help me?

Install Driver Cleaner Pro & CCleaner but don't run them yet. Uninstall ATI MultiMedia Center & any other ATI realeted software (make sure you have the software to reinstall). Boot into safe mode & run DriverCleaner Pro (choose ATI from the list & hit START). When that's done, run CCleaner, then boot back into Windows & try reinstalling your ATI software again.

No, but I just bought Premier and it has been nothing but trouble, a giant disappointment.

Adobe premier has many different features which may have caused your problem. This card is very fickle. The TV Wonder Pro ONLY works with the software that comes with it on the CD. The downloaded "new" drivers do not work. Additionally, installing any other software that "does the same thing," i.e. some obscure feature in adobe such as its' "picture capturing," has to install some drivers of its own. This instantly causes the TV Tuner PRO to hault operating normally. The ONLY way to fix it is to reinstall the software from the CD. My problem: I can't find my CD. #$^*$%
