Sorry for double posting, thought it might be more appropriate in the hardware fourm.

Tiscalli are coming to install a TV box in my house next week and i wanted to know if it would be possible to hook this up to my computer either the pc itself or just the monitor? I currently am using a K-World DVBT digital box (USB2) for my pc with an external digital antana.

heres the link to the box http://www.tiscali.co.uk/products/t...

Thanks,

Are you using any software for watching TV ! I believe this is a must have in order to configure your PC to enable TV viewing. For instance I hacve a ATI TV Wonder Elite PCI whats called a TV Tuner card ,they also have the TV Wonder in a USB version .With it comes all the software that installes needed codec's and options for your Tv Viewing settings. I would suggest you find out who would be able to answer these ?'s for the type of TGV Viewing product you are using ?
Good Luck, Nick

I have just installed the Tiscali Broadband and Phone option 2 package. With this, one installs oneself. Afer a bit of a struggle it is working well.

Your package includes a Tiscali engineer visiting to install.

Surely he is the one you should be asking this question. I would have thought it depends what connections are provided be the tv 'box' they supply.

I considered the Tiscali TV option, but as I already have Freeview (box is under £20 at Asda now) decided against.

For tv on pc, suggest check the internet as more and more tv channels are becoming available.
e.g. for Italian www.streamerone.it is good

Advise how you get on.

Good Luck -Keep us posted.

With the wireless modem supplied with my package was a tiscali cd on which is the manual for such.

As the modem is made by Siemens, I requested any info they had. They sent me two further documents. All of which is interesting reading.

I would suspect the same is true/similar for the tv box you are getting.

Good Luck - Keep us posted.
