trying to reboot packard bell to factory set

Specs: WindowsXP home
supposed to plug in all original hardware but no longer have original keyboard. New one won't work in reboot so cannot press enter, ok etc. to continue the process

Try a ps2 keyboard, if you have the socket.

Or try another usb keyboard.

I find it hard to believe only one particular kb will work.

Hi. I have now managed to restore my system successfully. Borrowed another packard bell keyboard with same socket as my old one as I tried ordinary usb keyboard but would not work. Thanks very much again for your help!
