trouble hooking up tv and pc

Your laptop or tv have to support the same format to begin with. Does your laptop support TV out? Or is your TV a monitor as well as a tv? "Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
