Trio Racer FF Setup Problem

Genius Trio racer ff racing wheel
September 16, 2011 at 02:17:36
Specs: Windows 7
My Genius Trio Racer FF Racing Wheel isn't being setup correctly in win7. I have tried to install several different drivers downloaded from the internet, choose the drivers from a list. Still no luck, I'm using Need for Speed : Hot Pursuit to test it.
When I plug it in the wheel moves left and right so I know the USB/Wheel works but when I go into device manager it tells me "This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)"

There are no drivers for Win 7. You can download and install xp mode for win 7 and run it from there.

I was talking to a friend about that but he told me it doesn't give you full use of your GPU. Is this true?

No, it's not true. It uses the xp operating system within windows 7 as a virtual machine. It's as fully functional as XP would be if it were installed alone.

I just installed the Virtual OS but it seems like a crazy effort to install all my stuff onto it again. Is there any other way to set it up? If you look on their website it says they have win7 drivers but they don't seem to work.

You don't have to install all your stuff, just the drivers for the wheel and the game. I didn't see any drivers for windows 7, but I did run across some Vista drivers which may work. You have to make sure you have the correct version of driver. There's 32 bit and 64 bit. You didn't say what version of Win 7 you have.

I am on win7 64 bit.

The drivers made by Genius are here http://www.geniusnet.com/wSite/ct?x... but don't work. I just tried the Vista driver and it didn't work
