Ok guys its an HP PSC 1315xi All In One Printer.

I have an ink refill kit that works fine except after so long the cartidges decide to stop working period. Could it be that hp sees the cartridge as "empty" (according to their program where you check ink levels) and just kills off the cartridge so i buy new ones?

The black ink had been working fine and after trying to fill color and still not getting it to print we bought a new color cartidge.. Oh yay color works! But wait.. why is my black ink not working anymore? hmm..

Any ideas guys lol, im stumped at this point Ive tried searching to no avail

ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe Mobo
AMD Athlon XP 2800+

Geforce 6800 LE overclocked.
