Hello, I live in Bolivia (South America), and bought a laptop computer HP Compaq Business Notebook nx9010 for Latin America, but now I'm going to travel and live in United States, and I'd like to know if this computer will work there without problems.
If anyone can help me I'll appreciate it very much.

Sincerely,
Mauricio.

I do not see any reason why it would not work.

According to this site: http://www.powerstarinc.com/worldelectric.pdf

the US and Bolivia use the same type of electrical outlets.

The above site says that Bolivia uses two types. The USA uses type A and B. If your laptop doesn't use one of those, you might need and adapter.

Bolivia uses A and C. I assumed that the laptop has the standard A powercord. But I guess it would be good to check the pictures, just in case.
