Old lap top physically broke, removed hard drive from it and want to transfer itunes music to new laptop. I bought an ide adapter to go to usb on new laptop. Old os was vista home premium, new os is windows 7
Is the old hard drive recognized by Windows 7? If so access the drive from the directory tree and right click the files or folders and drag and drop to the Windows 7 drive and select copy. Don't know if it'll be a problem running 32bit programs in a 64bit format though.
