Hi! I'm just wondering if anyone might be able to help - I am trying to find out how to transfer files between two pcs with a linksys router. One pc is running on windows 98 and the other on Me.

Okay what do you want to know? you hook them all together.. then you add in the

IP address (Each one should have its own like this 192.168.1.11) The other should be (192.168.1.12)

Gateway: (This should be given to you with your router manual for instance 192.168.1.1)

(Linksys info) I am not sure what your gateway would be as son as you have this setup along with a Domain name
I suggest just using HOME. Then go in Windows explore & find your other computer.
If you have a intnernet connection connect to both you can add the DNS servers in both and walla you can surf the web as well.
