Transcend MP650 gives errr not support

September 1, 2011 at 23:37:36
Specs: Windows XP

I have Transcend MP650 4 GB Pen drive that gives error " not support" to some of the mp3 songs that I have downloaded ( Previously these songs were being plaed nicely on the device.) I could see the song title but the moment I press "play" it gives "not support" message and song does not play. If I connect the USB to PC, it does not show these songs either for which I get error message. Pl let me know if anything needs to be installed to make these songs play.

The affected mp3 tracks are most likely corrupted and therefore useless.
You will have to download them again.

If corruption occurs again, throw the pen drive away and buy a new one.
remember too that pen drives are not designed for long term storage or backups.
They are too unreliable for that - even those made by Transcend or Kingston etc.
They are "throwaway" items designed only for short-term storage or transferring files between devices.
