My laptop just blue screened and now it has restarted it asks for a hard drive password and I can't even get into the BIOS
Is there a way around this password?
I do not know what make the hard drive is but the laptop is a Toshiba Satellite 1410 which looks like this

I told the subject to be hard drive password not the model of my laptop!!!!!!!!

from the looks of it that is a newer laptop with an warranty perhaps? if not well usually there is not supposed to be a password set unless you or someone has set it unknowingly but id advise you to get a boot disc to recover everything by booting from the dvd/cd rom drive email me for further questions at xsystem219@yahoo.com
