Specs: Windows XP Home, AMD 6000
The mouse pad stopped working, but a USB mouse works great, Now the real mind bender.
I took out the old drivers and reinstalled the new ones from Toshiba, then I started the computer, after it loaded to the desktop the mouse pad worked for about 10 seconds and stopped again, I've tried this several times with the same problem, Yes I've tried it in safe mode and it won't work there eather, I want to say that I should change the mousepad itself but it does work even if for a very short time. Any Ideas out there???

I feel like such a dummy, the touchpad on my laptop was not working and is unresponsive, it's not broken, I or someone else has accidently deactivated it with the function key. Press the FN on the bottom left of the keyboard and while holding it down press the F8 key, and now it works.

I need a beer.....
