Toshiba Laptop / Windows 7 Install Issue

Specs: Windows 7 home premium, 2 gb of ram
I'm trying to get Windows 7 Home Premium installed on a Toshiba laptop with 2 GB of RAM Model # PSLB8U-027025 and I had swapped out the hard-drive due to an error and now it doesn't give the error ...however, now it only seems to start the setup process, starts loading Windows files and it gets to the point of almost loading into Windows and then it just stops displaying anything on the screen—on the first stage of install Windows 7—unless I choose Safe Mode With Networking...and on the second stage it gets to the Windows splash screen and then stops showing any display...and at that stage it doesn't install any further with Safe Mode....I've also tried to replace the hard-drive...and replace the memory...Also I went into the BIOS and made sure it was running in AHPI instead of compatibility mode and the harddrive and memory is brand new.
...what most likely could be wrong? What most likely would fix this so I can do a complete install?

Thanks in advanced for any helpful answer.

Did it ever have Windows 7?

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.
