toshiba laptop no display

first someone made a change, where I don't know. But I was getting the PXE-E61 Media test error and PXE-MOF Exiting intel boot agent errors. Well I read somewhere to go into the bios and check the boot sequence, sure enough the LAN was before the HDD. Changed that, turned it on and did not get the errors but after the Windows loading display there would be no progress, just a blank screen. So I turned off the laptop and removed the harddrive and batt and replaced them. Now NOTHING happens when turned on. HELP!!!

It's me again. Solved the part of the problem, the ram was not all the way in. But still there is no display after the Windows loading screen. I have been informed that there was a change made under the display adapter possibly. And a remote monitor does not work either.

You may have the PXE turned on in the BIOs for the video card. Unless you are in a Domain or network you don't he PXE turned on.

You must have the bios set to intialize the video in the proper video mode - AGP or PCI - if it is AGP video, and the bios is set to PCI, on many computers you will have a display until Windows start to load, then blackness. In some older bioses you must also assign an IRQ to AGP.
