toshiba laptop frozen

i have a toshiba laptop and it is frozen. After I click on the user name it freezes on the screen that says "loading personal settings". PLEASE HELP!!

Try another User account or create a new one. Sounds like user Profile may be corrupted. May be a Virus/Malware infection. Try starting in SafeMode so you can run your Virus/ Malware Scans. There is nothing to learn from someone who already agrees with you.
