Hi,

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro A100. When I boot it it freezes at the splash screen that says 'In touch with tomorrow TOSHIBA' in otherwords before the O/S (Win XP starts)

At the bottom it says 'Press F2 for setup Press F12 for boot device selection'

I've tried both those keys as I switch it on and F12 does nothing. F2 however says 'Please wait' and the progress bar freezes at about 66%.

Can anyone help, please.

Mark

Remove battery and power plug. Either wait a day or press the power button on and off a few times. Put the ac adapter in only and retry.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
