Solved Toshiba L300 suddenly screen off & goes stack

May 28, 2016 at 09:23:30
Specs: Windows 7, 2 GHz / 2 gb
When I play any video or TV home media on my Satellite L300, after 10-15 minutes later it goes to stack and the screen goes to hang with a solid color. Sometimes it happens when I do my personal work even though not playing any kinds of media. My laptop has some power issues say like it's backup 30 minutes and maximum time I always keep connect the charger. I use Windows 7 with 2 range Ram & processor. Please give me an idea to resolve above issues.

Maybe I'm a bit dozy but I'm having trouble with your terminology. What are?:

1. It goes to stack.
2. Say like it's backup 30 minutes.
3. With 2 range Ram.

How long have you been having these issues - I was wondering if System Restore would help?

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

✔ Best Answer
Over heating?

Perhaps - having removed "all'" power (battery included) use a can of compressed air to blow out "all" vents etc.

If you're comfortable removing any removable covers on the base (usually //ram at least) do so and again blow air from the can through there too.

If you can access the cpu area - similarly blow out its cooling fans as well.
