I HAVE CONNECTED THE CABLE FROM SCREEN OUTPUT ON LAPTOP TO SCREEN INPUT ON TV. HIGHLIGHTED THE PC BUTTON ON TV BUT NO PICTURE. i HAVE A EMACHINES D620 LAPTOP
For a start, turn off CAPS LOCK, it is considered to be shouting and many people will just ignore you. One of the F keys (often F5) along the top will be used, in conjunction with the Fn key to toggle the display output - you need to connect up as you have done then press and hold the Fn key, then tap the F(5) key until the display appears on the TV screen - give it a couple of seconds between presses for the system to catch up.
Note that using a standard VGA connection you may find the picture isn't very good
