Hi, recently i bought a used HP Pavilion Elite M9160F it has a Toshiba HD/Dvd Rom. There was Vista installed on it. I formatted the PC and installed Win Xp (32). The Toshiba HD/DVD Rom can't be seen by the Pc therefore can't even be opened. I have following drivers missing: -Beanbag Emulation Device -Multimedia Controller -PCI Simple Communications Controller.
The BeanBag is most probably the remote that comes with the pc. As i have been told by HP there are 3 PCI devices on my system: Wireless LAN card , Modem , TV tuner card. but all 3 work perfectly

As with any new pc using Vista, drivers are not always available for Win XP. If you can restore the machine to Vista with the restore cd, I would suggest doing that. You can search around for drivers for xp, but don't hold your breath. Find out what Mobo you have and see if you can reinstall the chipset drivers.
