Hi to all. I have a failing Toshiba 30GB Notebook HDD! I can't seem to find Toshiba Utils to test the HDD and to Low Level Format it! Where can i get them? If there are any!
I've also tried other Low Level format utils and none of them worked! Maybe it has to be a Toshiba util?

As far as I know you can't get them unless you're a toshiba certified tech. What you can do is download the Hitachi Drive Fitness Test application and run it on your HDD.

I've tried Hitachi DFT! Didn't work! It can't format the drive and the tests keep failing! Also tried Maxtor PowerMax version 4.21 and it didn't work! Also tried Maxtor PowerMax version 4.09 wich is more compatible with non maxtor drives, also didn't work! Maxtor utils can format the drive but the errors remain! I really need Toshiba HDD soft or some some that works with Toshiba HDD's!
