I've been having a problem with my AC adapter. When it's plugged in, sometimes I get the battery on the taskbar showing that it isnt recognizing the power supply. This is the third power supply I've had for this computer. The first was the one that came with my laptop, and it stopped working after a while. The second two were bought from the same company and both have the same problem. The first adapter didnt show this problem, it just stopped working after a while.

You will have to start some kind of test to prove some issue.
Could it be that there is some connector issue that is causing this?
I guess they could be the wrong one's and that is why they fail.
Could be the battery is not in the socket exactly or some charging issue.

It could be that the laptops connector has broken loose from the motherboard. Try to gently wiggle it and see if it's loose.

I have had the exact same problem. I will be purchasing my
fourth adapter. The last time it went out we used someone
else's adapter not from Toshiba and it worked just fine.
Unfortunately we were just borrowing it but I am tempted to buy
another adapter and not one from toshiba.
