hi I am trying to install the internal lt winmodem in my toshiba 1710 CDS under win98se. the laptop has no com ports only ltp, usb and ps/2. in the driver pack for the modem there is one for a "controllerles modem port" withch I had install manualy with "add new hardwere" and now it is there in the device manager near the ltp1. the problem is that when I am installing the modem the only option that I have is to put it on the ltp1!!! the contollerles modem port that I had install it does'nt even there in the drop down menu to be able to chose it even though it is there in the devide manager.
