Hi, my speakers work fine because I regulary use a Ensoniq Audio PCI with no audio problems. Well, I got my hands on a ES1868 Audio Drive sound card. I need it for some synth software because it has a powerful FM synth, well, this thing just has too darn much bass. My sub woofer sounds like its gonna blow and if I use my TV (current monitor,) the speakers break up. I have turned down the volume but does not help at all. I even tried to open up bass control in windows 2000 but the Advanced Options in the file menu is grayed out. Is there any software that can fix this???

Update your sound card driver then you should be able to have access for Advance option at Sound & audio devices.
