i have a acer laptop with intel extreme graphics 2 integrated memory and am trying to modify the maximum memory allocation. in setup i can only modify the minimum allocation. Any advice/ help would be appreciciated

Try looking for that setting in the BIOS screens.

my laptop has integrated video meaning there is a max and min ram allocated to my video card. through the setup menu i can increase my minium slightly.l what i want to do is increase my maximum ram allocation

OK, what I'm asking is WHY do you want to do this? 64MB is the max...you can't go any higher. And even if you could, it won't do much (if anything) for graphics performance. For example, it won't improve gameplay if that's what you're hoping for.
