My wife washed my thumb drive. :( It got water inside it and it's all out now and dry. Should I try using it still?

Does it look like new again?
Generally speaking, if it's dried out before you try it, it should be OK. Plugging it in while it is wet could cause nasty side effects. When dry, even if the drive no longer works, the worst it could do is crash your computer.
