My vintage 1997 IBM ThinkPad 385ED is beginning to fade away. I had it in storage for three years, and I just tried to boot it up for fun. An error 00161 and 00163 pops up. I reset the calendar clock, but I can get no further. Of course, I have a few semi-precious documents from the 1990s that I'd like to recover, but I can't get past the error message. Any suggestions?
