Think Pad380z can't see Hard Drive

Got a new 20 mg hard drive and will install ME (only os I have) but the machine dosen't recognize the drive. I have a boot disk (Bootdisk.com). The A: drive and cd Drive are recognized but no C drive :-((.
Any help would be appreciated.

When you say "won't recognize" that is not specific.

Do you mean it is not detected in bios/setup, nor

Do you mean that you can't access the drive from your bootdisk?

Is the drive fdisked? Is it formatted?

Have you run fdisk (from your bootdisk?) to see if there is a partition?

You should not even need a bootdisk with that machine, if you have the factory recovery CD, or an "OEM" Whendox Cd, because both are bootable.
