I am trying to locate a problem with one of my hardware, I think. In my Event Viewer there seem to be an error on sartup saying.... The Cardex service failed to start due to the following error.... Cannot create a file when that file already exits.... event code 7000 I tried finding this hardware, in my command prompt sc query I think this may be a hardware problem but can not be for certain as there are quiet a few item on the screen. Is there any better way to isolate this error down so that i can correct it. My PC was having some issue before and now since i have completely reformated the third time round, this has now come better, however said i do still have some issues intalling some basic item or software that I needed when i was trying to reload this PC. What I am doing is try to understanding what has casue me some much grief in the past with this machine. Also please note this machine is not a GX260.... It is now a different PC GX620 dual core with SP3 installed. Can anyone give me some more helpful suggetion to norrow this item down. There has to be a better way Thanks

Yes I have google it but little has shown up. Nothing to specific. Microsoft has a trouble shooting website but it is very vague? It does specify a few item but way to broad to isolate this perticular problem.

To those who ever have this perticular problem I have finally located this error. It was the software for my video driver Expertool which i unistalled this and it has fixed the problem. I will leave some links to another posting that I was using to resolve this issue for future reference to whom ever has this similar problem with their PC. Please read below.
