Specs: Windows xp, pentium 4 3.2ghz
my pc does not connect to windows when go into the bios screen does not show the hard drive dont know what to do next cannot get any further help please

Check connections to drive. Test with known working drive or test drive on known working computer.

Might be possible to boot to a ultimate boot cd to run tests but generally bios should "see" the drive.

If the drive is not recognized in BIOS or POST it's usually a connection problem. Turn off the power or unplug; open case and make sure the cable are tight on the back of the drive.
