testing a motherboard without a cpu

not that I'm aware of. I'm sure that the manufacturers have a method of quality testing in the factory. The term POST stands for Power On Self Test. To get a successful POST you need a minimum of Power Supply, CPU with HSF, Graphics (On-Board or plug-in) 1 stick ram and keyboard.
I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.
