Hi, I've been having a few weird problems with various stop code comming up on my PC, but its been intermittent, and I'm starting to suspesct the motherboard. I was wondering if there are any utilities to test all the function of a computer repeatedly to try and find such faults?
If any one knows of such software, I'd be grateful if you could tell me about it, or even jsut of any manual ways to do test things. Thanks very much!

SANDRA is a benchmark and diagnostic utility. Find it here. http://www.download.com/3000-2086-10018691.html
Also there a a couple of memry testing utilities that should be run from a floppy or CD.

The only hardware diagnostics that are of any practical use, are memory and hard disk diagnostics.

Do yourself a favor BACKUP!
