My system wont turn on at all, no beeps, no noise, nothing. It is a HP Pavilion Slimline s7210n PC, with 108 watt power supply. I need to test my system to see if the power supply is bad.

I can use power supply from other computer, but that power supply is 350 or more watts. Will it damage the little computer if I use this 350+watts power supply to test it?

Thanks.

No, you can never have to many watts. Watts are a measurement of power available. The computer will only use as much power as it needs.

However, the HP power supply is likely to be a propriety and a standard ATX power supply may not work. Check the motherboard connectors that they are identical with the same colour coding.
