hi, my name is Addys, I need help. I bought a Plantronics Avaya AW55 wireless phone and it came without the telephone cord which connects to the telephone line. I live in Puerto Rico (USA) and I can not find a cord the fits, because the ends of the conductor modular plugs are not the same, one is smaller than the other at the end and I do not now how tho buy this.

Plantronics and Avaya are two separate companies. My guess is that you bought a Plantronics cordless headset that works on Avaya phones.

That would explain the smaller connector. The small connector plugs into where the handheld handset plugs into on the telephone, not into the telephone line. I didn't find your model number on Avaya's or Plantronics site but you need to determine what you really bought. I don't see anywhere on their website that they sell a regular cordless phone.

Good find Riider.

As I suspected, that is a cordless headset, not a cordless phone. It plugs into the Avaya phone where the handset plugs into.
