morent, Have you tried pressing CTRL + SHIFT + ESC which is another way of accessing the Task Manager?

Methods 1 or 2 at the link below are painless and should correct your problem.

Thanks guys. I rebooted and solved my problem.I put all my programs onto my external harddrive and everything came out great. Thanks again.
