I'm looking for a nice Tablet PC for my classes, so I can right notes by hand, and have the function of a laptop. I dont really have any idea on what to look for when it comes to tablets so I could use some help.

First I think you are going to be disappointed. Unless you can read your own writing, hand writing recognition has a way to go to be accurate enough.

Microsoft is working on a new one, dunno if anyone made money on a tablet ever. It won't be out for months at least.
There are only a few makers any more. They are normally used for specialized tasks now and inteneded for rough use. Most are something like $2K and up to way up.
Many users say Windows 7 has impoved their tablet so you might need to go see them hands on at a store.
Might be better off looking at a pda from HP. (about the only one left.) The Ipaq 210 is one of the best.
