Comment: hie guys, I've a problem here. I've an old pentium 3(500mhz) cpu on a abit BE6 motherboard which i decided to put to good use lately. I fixed the system up with a new cd-rom and a seagate 40 gig harddisk. when i boot up the system, it could detect both the hard disk and cpu. However it fails to boot directly from the the cd-rom(with my win xp cd in it) and would just keep flashing "non system disk available". In this case, I've already changed the boot up sequence to cd-rom first via the bios. Fustrated, I installed the win xp OS to the hard disk by connecting it up with my other system.(pentium 4) everything works fine. However when i connect the hard disk back to the old pentium 3 system, the cpu would automatically restart whenever win xp starts to load up..what could be the problem?can anyone give me some advice?
