System crashed when running winamp v2.91.I also use Dee3 plugin.
I didn't get a BSODor any info in event viewer, the screen just froze and i just got a high pitched humming sound.
Did a restart and chkdsk began. It fixed some files $I30.
Never heard of them files.couldn't find much info doing a google.
Just did a defrag a couple days ago and all my drivers are current.
my sound card is an Audigy 2 gamer.
Please give ideas as to what caused this crash.this is the third or fourth time I got this type of crash in recent months although the other times I never got the auto chkdsk.
thanks!
