Hello, I am not sure whether my ECS K7S5A motherboard or CPU is damaged. Just to make sure I upgraded and ordered another motherboard and CPU, but I want to find out if either my old motherboard or CPU is good. After I flashed the BIOS, I noticed that when I set the jumper settings to 133, the PC doesnt boot up every now and then. It came to a point where it didnt boot up at all, the whole PC turned on, lights and fans, but no display in DOS. So if the CPU where damaged, would the PC come on at all? I ask because the CPU looks like its in good shape, it doesnt smell or look burned or anything. So what are the symptons of a burned out motherboard or CPU, or even a power supply for that matter? Thanks

Swapping suspected units is about the only way to tell for sure.
