Specs: Windows 7
By any chance, do you have any SX-34 cards for sale? I have a DOS based system using ISA hardware that I'd like to get rid of Thanks, Tom AA1WX

What is it you are looking for? We here are a public volunteer forum. We don't sell anything.

What is an SX-34 card?

Hello. The SX-34 is an MPEG/DOS soundcard made by Antex some 10 years ago. I have no spares and I haven't seen one on E-Bay for a long time. I was hoping that someone on your forum might have one or more of them. If selling is not allowed, I'd be willing to donate to a charity of choice if someone happens to have SX-34 cards that he no longer needs. If this is not allowed, my apologies.........Tom

Hi Tom and welcome to the forum.

Selling and buying is allowed, you just have to understand, this is a volunteer tech forum as OtheHill already stated, so if you have something you want to purchase, it is strictly done as one person to another and probably done though personal emails.

When you say it's an MPEG/DOS sound card, that is pretty specific. Years ago, when systems were too slow to handle high compression codecs, the hardware itself was designed to process these types of files.

Just my .02 cents, I wouldn't focus so much on a specific type of sound card and go with something more generic, such as a Soundblaster/Ensoniq ES1371 ISA sound card.

You mentioned ISA in your first post. Are you looking for an ISA or a PCI based card?
