Tried updating my cdrw and now it's dead. Tried MTKFLASH and PFLASH but only good for Mediatek chipsets. Mine has OAK chipset. Does anbody know of any other flash utility I can use to reflash my firmware?

IS this correct?:
1. Your drive was working.
2. You tried to update the firmware.
3. It no longer works.

If so and if you used the wrong firmware, it is most likely a paperweight.

4. All of the above.

So much for crying over spilt liquor.
See If you can track down the original firmware over the web, hopefully some nerd has it, then reflash it to the original with appropriate flash program.

You can start your search here.

Goodluck.
