How do I use a scart-connector which has connectors for audio and s-video. mine has an input-output-switch and two s-video cables one in and one out, and four sound cables: 2 in, 2 out.
When I connect my TV with my Asus 5200 Fx, the screen only flickers, and I see nothing . Please tell me, why is that, Thanksss!

Hi,
have you extended your desktop to the second monitor in the display properties and also set the correct TV settings (PAL/NTSC) in the Nvidia setup?

yes, I allready did that, and tried everything out: every Driver for Nvidia I could find, TvTool, etc. I tried also to clone, to expand the desktop, set the TV in AV mode under ntsc and pal, setting the same things in the display properties.. and nothing. Maybe the cable is the problem, because it was designed for three devices(for example VCR, PC and TV)?
Here it is ,what stands on the box of the cable:

VIDEO SCART CABLE, 4x Chinch & 2x Hosiden

2 x 4 pole S-Video plug (Hosiden) and 2 x 2 cinch plugs to scart plug. For the connection of two devices (e. g. PC and Notebook or PC and VCR with S-Video-Output) to the Scart-Input of the TV-decive. The Cinch cables are connecting the soundcard or audio device. (The TV Scart-Input and -Output must be occupied by S-Video.) The IN/OUT switch enables operation in both directions. Lenght 2,0m

thanks anyway!
