Sorry to have to repost this one guys but i didn't get any information on the last post, i only got one response. Thanks to Richard i believe who did post, but i need more info on my questions, they're pretty easy ones.

Anyway here's what i originally posted:

Hey guys, just got 2 easy questions that arn't related to each other. Firstly, on my GeForce 4 MX440 128MB card i have S-video. I don't know if it is in or out though? If it is in i want to know how to use it??? Like i have a cam corder that has S-video out and so i want to get the video's signal on my computer using the S-video port if that's possible? If it is could you give us a brief explanation of what i need/how to do it.
Secondly I need to find out one thing about DVD Burners because soon i will get one. I know pretty much everything about them but the one thing i don't under stand is the +/- stuff??? No idea what it means. If you could also just give us a brief explanation about that too that'd be great.

Cheer's Daniel

I'm sure if you looked on the side of the box, or in your manual, you'd find that the S-video on your MX440 is OUT

"I need to find out one thing about DVD Burners" + "I know pretty much everything about them but the one thing i don't under stand is the +/- stuff???"

If you don't know what that means, I suggest you DON'T know pretty much everything about them. It has to do with the different recording standards the burner supports

Already looked on the box and my manual, pfft. The card didn't come with a manual, just came with the driver's cd, an RCA video cable and a booklet that tells me all the different models of cards you can get.

Ok then, so would you explain to me what the different standards are of + and - DVD burning?

Cheers, Daniel

Are you sure the manual isn't on the CD? If it's not, did you try going to the manufacturer's website to see if you can download it?

Here's some info about DVDRW standards:

If you want to know more information about dvds then check here,

If your video card does not have a inbound port for video then you need to purchase a video capture device.

Cheers guys, that will help me through, didn't think of the manual being on the cd. Should do that though. Thanks Jam
