Hi,
I experience video and sound glitches when playing DVD with 5.1 speaker setting on in PowerDVD 6.0.
Here is my setup: SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS (5.1 sound works perefectly, even in games such as Half-Life 2) PowerDVD 6.0 <--- ( when setting speakers to 6.0 glitching happens, when setting speakers to 2.0 no glitching) Logitech 5.1 speakers

I would say it is a problem with power dvd. Is it a full version or one that came free? Have you uninstalled it and reinstalled it?

The first question is the DVD encoded 5.1. Just because you have the ability to play doesn't mean the source was encoded to play it. I've seen DVD's with encodings for 5.1 to ordinary stereo. Depends upon what language and subtitling options were chosen. Also depending upon the soundcard and speakers you might have to change cabling to change mode.
