Hi there! I just received a gift from my friend--a Sun keyboard and mouse. I really like the layout/feel of the keyboard and want to you it with my computers (using a KVM switch actually).

Upon researching the keyboard (it's a type 6 with a Crossbow mouse), I found that the connector is called an 8 pin mini-DIN. It looks like a PS/2 connector. That is my problem--I have no computers that use the connector on this keyboard.

I tried looking for adapters but have yet to find one. As I said, I'd really like to use it and was wondering how to connect it to my PS/2 KVM switch.

FYI: the keyboard was bought brand new on eBay fo $50 USD and non-returnable. I am willing to pay for an adapter to get this to work.

Thanks so much for any help!

Look at the link below. They seem to make custom cables.

I'll try and give them a call tomorrow, but just the look of it it may cost more than the keyboard itself!
