Lenovo Nvidia geforce 9500gt pcie 512mb...
October 2, 2009 at 06:19:25
Specs: Windows XP, 4gb

OK lets Start

I just bought this PC, 2 months ago:

Tower - NOX NX-NX1

Mother Board - ASUS P5Q SE2

Memory - 2 Kingston 2GB PC2-6400 CL6 240-pin-Dimm

Power Suply Unit - Nox 600w

And a Nvidia geforce 275

...Ok, i had a PSQ SE PLUS MotherBoard and 2gb DDR 800 "something something" memory... The computer already was shuting down IN GAMES and had crazy errors, i went to the store, and the computer was there a month (i was really mad, because they sold me non campatible products, it seems) they changed the mother board and memory for the ones now.

Well the computer now works... but wen i start a game (Ex: FEAR PersuesMandate; GuildWars; Supreme Commander), after like 15 to 30 min. IT REBOOTS, really quick thing, no error, no nothing just powers down and restarts...

First of all, if i play any of this games in a window mode, it takes alot more time for the PC to shutdown or it dosent at all (GuildWars - in a normal small window didnt make any problems, but Supreme Commander, even in window mode after some time puff) ...

Possible problems:

Heating - ... where to start, i check with the gamer UD of the GTX275, and other heating cheking problems... The GTX dosent go over 75ºC in any game, and for what i know it can go to 95ºC and still runs...
Still just to try, i put a Van in top of the GTX, and now it dosent reach even 75ºC...

Power Problems - First is there a program that i can check if the Power Suply Unit is working?
second the GTX275 asks for 550w, the PSU as 600W... isnt that enoght?? I saw some topics that ppl say its enoght and some ppl with the same problem with a 1000W PSU...

HELP ME PLEASE i dont want to go another month with no computer, and wen the stores gives it back, it has the same really pissed, im really close for asking my money back, and buy a new complete one in another place...

Sorry about my English

=) ty for the reply

o sry i forgot about the CPU...

Just did a 3 hour test on the cpu, and no problems, and it dosent heat at all, it has a big cooling van...

I was trying to play again Supreme commander FA, and i just dont get it, i play 10 min. and puff... Im trying to find a friend that has a power suply unit that can stand the GTX275 (600W or more), to see what happens...

Question - is there a way to test the power sorce unit? and is nox 600W enoght for the GTX275? (the GTX asks for 550W) i dont know if in game play, with the motherboard, the vans, memory and every thing if it need a bigger power source

I like to close my posts, so if there is any one with my problem they know wen its solved and how.

Well i just bought the Nox Apex 700w... and it seems to be working for the GTX275.

Think i just playd for an hour for the first time with no reboot...
Well it seems it was a POWER SUPLY UNIT problem.
So if any one has the in game Shuting Down/Reboot must be the grafic card that isnt geting enought power OR the over heating...

Im gonna play some more to test it =)... if something happens ill say soemthing lol (hope not).
