Im not very computer savy at all, only 16. All i know is i rebooted my pc (via pushing the button and pushing it again to turn it back on). Now it just shows a black screen that says DELL in big blue letters followed by the dell website in grey www.dell.com all on black background followed by the words "BIOS Revision 1.0.11" in grey. It also says at the top to push f12 or f2 but niether do what they say they do. How can i fix this problem?
if you can't get back past that. Try unplugging the power for a minute. If that doesn't work then try taking out a stick of ram and start it up. It should beep at you since the ram changed. if you get past the screen then turn off the computer and put the stick back in.
Well im assuming that ill just have to wait for my dad to get home and scold me how i got a virus. From what i gathered i gota like delete all files or w/e and use backup discs or something? Think my dad already did that so doing it again shouldnt be that bad. Thanks for the help if you have anymore suggestions anyone post em here ill check in from day-to-day. ~Lazy
Oh sorry i just never use computers. And it went to the splash screen which is why i did the push button restart sorry if i didnt make that clear. So the screen was up before i restarted and i had no other option so i pushed the button.
