Hi guys,

I have a strange problem with a new USR USB modem.
I can make a dialup connection the first time I use it after starting up Windows and this works fine. After disconnecting if I then try to dialup again I get a "no dial tone" error. If I unplug the modem cable from the back of the modem and plug it back in then I can dialup again.

This is happening using a standard dialup internet connection and also within an accounts program which dials up.

I've installed the latest drivers for the modem but didn't help at all.

Has anyone ever come across this?

Thanks in advance.
Chris
